Our property estate offers an incredibly diverse range of landscapes & settings encompassing urban, sports, dereliction and green space to name a few. The location sits in the hub of North Kensington creative industry and is one of only a few large unit base facilities remaining in central London, thus demand is high and expected to show continual growth. We are unique in being able to offer unit base and shooting locations in the same area.
We have two key products:
- Unit base: Whereby location managers are able to provide parking for film location vehicles, e.g. large tech units, honey wagons (toilet blocks), dressing rooms, catering, generators, lighting rigs, bowsers, makeup and crew cars etc. Typically, the actual shoot location will take place within 15 minutes’ drive time from Westway and actors & crew will be transported from unit base to the location.
- Shoot Location: Where filming takes place on our property estate and/or captures images of our property. This may be stills or video for any type of media placement, e.g. TV, out of home advertising (OOH), online etc.
Underneath the Westway lies 23 acres of urban land ideal for creating edgy, urban, funky, film backdrops or events. Some of our locations are rich in graffiti and lie beneath the concrete arches and pillars of the flyover.
You can hire a range of outdoor spaces including; municipal parks, walkways and car parks (which can be used as unit bases) across our three locations; Holland Park, Portobello/Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park.
Our designer fashion arcade has a late 1970s – early 1980s vibe and the space underneath the Portobello Vintage market tent is used throughout the year for special events.
If you’re looking for something that’s more industrial, or a sporting venue, you can hire a gym, dance studios, tennis courts, basketball courts and get access to the country’s largest indoor climbing centre.
