We are excited to celebrate 50 years of Westway Trust. The charity, originally called North Kensington Amenity Trust, was formally incorporated on Friday 5 February 1971.
To kickstart the celebrations we hosted our first ever Community Live Stream on Friday evening. Brining together Westway staff members, trustees and community members to discuss what this anniversary means to them.
We unveiled our 50th Anniversary logo designed by local photographer and artist Kieron Kymara and will continue celebrating throughout the year. Our dedicated Westway 50th Anniversary website features a timeline, videos, gallery and events. We welcome members of our community to upload photos and documents relating to the development of Westway, the formation of our charity and the 23 acre estate. With all of the memorabilia collected we hope to hold an exhibition in the summer.
