Course description 

 

An inclusive community ukulele course that welcomes total beginners to those that have played a little.  

Meet new people, have loads of fun and learn to play a bunch of cool tunes.  

You will be taught by our professional musician and tutor in our 100% practical course that covers everything from basic chords and finger placement, through to playing chords and practising strumming and fingerpicking patterns. 

You’ll be surprised how quickly you’ll get to grips with this lovely instrument. 

 

Please bring your own ukulele or let us know if you need to borrow one (details below)

  1. Strumming patterns 
  1. Picking techniques 
  1. Learning some great tunes 
  1. How to chose the right size ukulele for you (soprano, concert etc)

  1. Play simple ukulele chords  
  1. Know how to change from one chord to another 
  1. Play basic strumming patterns 
  1. Understand picking techniques 
  1. Play a bunch of great songs with confidence
