Co-optee

As a Senior HR Professional, I have dedicated over 15 years to leading strategic HR initiatives that foster workplace excellence. A key aspect of my leadership is my commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), ensuring these principles are embedded in every facet of our organisational culture. I hold a master’s degree in human resources management from Westminster Business School and am a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). My professional approach is centred on merging strategic HR functions with broader business goals, promoting a culture that values continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, and employees’ well-being.

Since moving to the North Kensington area near Westway in 2017, I’ve felt a deep connection to the community that extends beyond just being a resident. As a parent, I’ve experienced firsthand the value of local institutions—my son has been attending local schools, where I witnessed the impact of a supportive and nurturing environment. My connection with the community has also been enriched by my daily walks with Luna, our Westie.  These walks aren’t just routine; they’re moments where I engage with neighbours, share stories, and build relationships with those who, like me, cherish this vibrant community. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a sincere understanding of the diverse needs, hopes, and dreams that make our neighbourhood unique.

I am eager to contribute to the Westway Trust, an organisation I see as pivotal to the community’s backbone. I am passionate about applying my HR expertise and my commitment to DEI and well-being to the Westway Trust. I see this as an opportunity to contribute to a key pillar of our community by ensuring that our initiatives promote inclusivity and enhance the overall quality of life for all residents.
