This 8-session practical course will support you to develop your fundraising skills and raise more money for your organisation.
By the end of the course, you will have increased your understanding of the importance of values, safeguarding, health and safety, legal structures and monitoring and evaluation, theory of change and budgeting. You will also boost your confidence, knowledge, skills, and creativity!
Learners will be required to complete an initial Level 1 assessment to confirm their suitability and readiness for the course. The assessment will take place on 15/09/25 and 16/09/25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Completion of this assessment is a mandatory requirement for successful enrolment on the course.

Trainers:
This course will be facilitated by Bashir Hassan and Claire Standring.
Claire Standring brings over 35 years’ experience of fundraising, teaching, training and mentoring. She was proud to receive an award in 2022 from the Partnership of Supplementary Schools in RBKC in recognition of her 25 years of dedication and commitment to the supplementary school community.
Bashir Hassan is a Director of Maxilla City CIC and Trustee of Volunteer Centre Kensington & Chelsea. He is also a capacity building consultant supporting local organisations to streamline operations in order to maximise public benefit.
