The Kensington & Chelsea Poetry Fringe by Kamitan Arts

The K & C Poetry Fringe brings together local communities, residents, and visitors of all ages and backgrounds through free poetry workshops, creative activities, performances, and a public Poetry Trail rooted in multilingual community voices. By activating public spaces and increasing visibility for underrepresented voices, the Poetry Fringe creates welcoming, recognisable, and accessible cultural experiences for all. Grassroots-led and rooted in RBKC, the Poetry Fringe champions equitable partnerships, community leadership, and fair representation, helping to shape a more equitable and inclusive arts and culture sector. The theme for this year’s K & C Poetry Fringe is ‘PEACE’, showcasing a lively range of creative opportunities across the borough that celebrate community spirit and grassroots creativity from the ground up!
