Neighbourhood Doulas CIO

We’re opening applications for our free doula training programme, run by Neighbourhood Doulas CIO for people who want to support women and birthing people in their community.

This training is fully funded, so there’s no cost to take part. It’s open to RBKC residents, including RBKC residents currently placed in temporary accommodation in other boroughs. You’ll learn directly from experienced, practising doulas, covering the skills and knowledge you need to support people through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. For some, this training is a step towards paid doula work. For others, it’s a way to support their community more directly. Either reason is a good one to apply.

Alongside the training itself, you’ll become part of a wider network of trained community birth workers — people you can lean on, learn from, and work alongside once the course is finished.

Spaces are limited, so we’d encourage anyone interested to apply as early as possible.
