This course is designed to help you break through those barriers. You’ll focus on improving the structure of your writing – from full texts to paragraphs and sentences – while deepening your understanding of grammar. The skills you develop will also support more formal speaking tasks, such as job interviews, workplace meetings, and presentations. Ideal for those who feel comfortable speaking English but want to build confidence in their writing and formal communication.
Yes, you will need to do a pre-course assessment to establish your level of English before enrolling onto the course.
This course is for people new to learning English but who are not complete beginners. It will help anyone who is confused about the key grammar needed to communicate in everyday life.
You will learn in a supportive and welcoming environment. The tutor will help you discover rules and features of English.
You will work in pairs or small groups, and sometimes as a whole class.
Your tutor will also work with you individually. Everything that you learn will help you in your daily life.
You will need to do work outside the classroom.
You will need a pen, some lined A4 paper and a file to keep your work in.
Your tutor will provide handouts and worksheets and let you know if there are any other resources that you might need to get.
