You will be making a miniature room including furniture, accessories and soft furnishings. Each person will be given a completed room box with a common theme to be interpreted individually through decoration. Wooden kits will be provided after discussion on how the space will be decorated Each person will make their own choices within reason regarding fabric for bedding and patterns for paper for wallpaper.

By the end of the course you will have.
An understanding of miniature work in terms of scaling.
Planning and expressing how that plan will work.
Using different materials effectively.
Teamwork.
One to one instruction as well as working as part of the group to design and make miniature pieces.
Please bring scissors, ruler and pencils.
Glue, and various materials will be provided depending on the individual projects.
You will get feedback and be provided with helpful links to continuing with miniature making projects.
Fees exemption applies if you are in receipt of state benefits, on a low income (under £27,000.07 per year) and have residential status
