Digital Skills Adult Learning – Khaoula’s Story

We offer a range of adult learning courses to help members of our communities to develop new skills, build confidence, and progress into employment, self-employment, or further education.

One of our learners, Khaoula, began learning at Westway Trust in 2024 and has completed two Digital Skills courses as well as a Level 2 ESOL Course. For Khaoula, developing her English and digital skills has been incredibly important. She knows that so much of everyday life is now digital, from shopping online to staying connected with others. Khaoula describes her experience as very positive, highlighting the support of her tutors and the friendships she has made.

Khaoula encourages anyone who feels shy or unsure about learning to be positive and simply say, “I can do it. Why not?”
