Unpredictable Series presents: Horizontal Dreams Somatic Workshop with Pepa Ubera.

This free improvisation workshop explores movement through guided scores, sensory awareness, and group improvisation. The session moves between individual exploration, partner work, and collective structures that support participants in developing attention, listening, and responsiveness through movement.

Pepa will share a series of improvisation scores developed through her project The Machine of Horizontal Dreams. These include practices such as moving with the eyes closed, moving with the organs, and exploring ideas of crescendo in both individual and collective ways. Through these scores, participants will experiment with different dynamics of attention, rhythm, and spatial awareness.

The workshop also invites participants to play with shared ownership within the dance – embodying leading, following, supporting, and letting go. Curiosity, experimentation, and pleasure are central to the session, allowing improvisation to emerge as a collective, imaginative, and exploratory practice.

About Pepa Ubera

Pepa Ubera (she/her) is a London-based choreographer, facilitator, and interdisciplinary artist whose work explores embodiment, speculative imagination, and collective dreaming through performance and improvisation. Drawing from feminist posthumanism, pleasure activism, and science fiction, she creates immersive and relational experiences that invite audiences into shared spaces of movement, listening, and imagination.

Originally from Madrid, Pepa has presented work internationally across the UK, Europe, Australia, and Chile. Alongside her artistic practice, she facilitates workshops and improvisation classes focused on collective exploration, embodied research, and composition as a relational practice. Her latest project, The Machine of Horizontal Dreams, premiered at Sadler’s Wells East in Autumn 2026.

Open to all, no dance experience required.
