Carbon Awareness and the Impact of Climate Change

This qualification provides learners with a detailed knowledge of the causes of climate change. You will be able to recognise its many impacts and identify actions to tackle climate change at individual, organisational and global levels.  With this qualification, learners will gain knowledge and confidence to act as drivers of positive change within the workplace and at home. This course will empower learners to use their green skills and awareness to engage with climate change and bring about positive change. Students will do some presentations and some independent study.

Units include:

• The science of the greenhouse effect and climate change
• The impact of climate change
• The actions individuals, communities and organisations to take to address climate change

The course is online, you must be committed and willing to attend for 30 (GLH) guided learning hours, which will include some independent study tasks and in course presentations.
