AI for Impact: Tools, Trends, and Tensions in the Third Sector

Are you ready to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can transform your nonprofit or community organisation? Join our practical and interactive 2-hour training workshop, designed specifically for third-sector professionals and practitioners.

This workshop is designed for:

  • Westway Trust member organisations, tenants and community groups.
  • Third-sector professionals and nonprofit leaders.

What You’ll Learn

Meet Your Expert Speakers

Dr Weifeng Chen | Reader in Innovation Management and Strategy Brunel University of London

Dr Chen is a Reader in Innovation Management and Strategy at Brunel Business School and Programme Director of the MSc in AI Strategy. His research focuses on how organisations—particularly in public and third sectors—can harness emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence to drive sustainable innovation, inclusion, and impact.

Dalim Basu MBE FBCS CITP | Chairman, BCS London Branches , British Computer Society

Dalim Basu was awarded an MBE in January 2025 as “Honorary Chair and Volunteer, British Computer Society, North, Central and South London Branches. For services to Young People and Promotion of Science and Technology.” He serves as voluntary Chairman of the London Branches at BCS – the Chartered Institute for IT. His professional experience spans over four decades, delivering quality results at leading ‘Big Four’ and financial/business services firms at a global level.
