This fund supports community celebrations and events, particularly those that give local talent a chance to be showcased. We welcome applications for events and projects where this is either central to the activity or where there is a significant element of public engagement. We support events across any art form or theme important to the North Kensington communities.
The maximum grant awarded is £2,500 for any one event regardless of collaborations or partnerships between organisations.
Round One of our Celebrations & Events Grant 2025/26, covers events taking place between May – September 2025. £45,000 is available in round one.
A further £25,000 will be distributed in Round Two for events taking place from October 2025 – April 2026.
We fund community organisations, registered charities, registered Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO), or registered Community Interest Companies (CIC), or a community group with a written constitution or governing document (i.e. articles of association). Organisations should operate within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC), with a particular focus on the communities living in North Kensington.
