Portobello Market Canopy is a popular space for local and community events.

The space is generally used by Portobello Green Market on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the year.

It's also the home of the Portobello Vegan Night Market, held monthly on a Wednesday evening.

The space is available to community groups to use outside these hours.

If you are interested in holding an event under the canopy, please complete the attached event plan form, together with your proposed dates and times. We will aim to get back to you with availability and feasibility within 2 working days.

**Please note that we generally require approximately 3 weeks notice before your event to issue an event license to use this space. We are unable to guarantee the issue of licenses with less than 3 weeks notice**

Booking

Mon - Wed, between the hours of 9AM-10PM, Thurs 9AM - 5PM 

Unavailable Fridays –Sundays due to Portobello Green Market, and some Wednesdays due to Portobello Vegan Night Market, held monthly on a Wednesday evening.

*Some may not apply, depending on the nature of the event. Once collected, the paperwork is sent our Events Manager for further review, before a space license is issued by our Leasing Officer.*

Set-up and on-site assistance

During the event consultation process organisers will be invited for a site-walk with our facilities team to go over any technical requirements and assistance in setting up. Technical assistance required after officer hours and over the weekend will incur an extra charge.
