Economic well-being in North Kensington  is one of the 3 pillars of our long-term strategy at Westway.

In 2019, we created a new post and brought on board Ravinder Dhanjal as our new Head of Local Economy, to develop and deliver a new Economic well-being strategy.

Part of our work in this area includes providing affordable spaces for local entrepreneurs.

In 2018, we launched Podobello, a series of pop-up units on Thorpe Close, designed specifically for local entrepreneurs to test out small and affordable retails spaces on a short-term basis, while they get their new businesses up and running. The  new spaces support enterprise, small business incubation, maker space and other commercial and community activity which will be accessible, affordable and flexible for community and business use.

Don't take our word for it, though. Take a look at the film below to see what some of our Podobello tenants have to say...

If you're interested in using one of the pop-up spaces on Thorpe Close to test out your business idea, get in touch with Ravinder!
