How will I be taught? What kind of activities will I be doing?

You will be taught how to paint arresting urban landscape

Practical activities, using materials, paints, drawing

Developing observational skills and thinking about shape/colour/tone in the landscape

Understanding perspective inc composition / layout

Referencing other artists work through books or internet.

 

What will I need to bring? Where can I get this? What do we provide?

Students will need to bring their own materials; a basic pack will be available at a special rate from Portobello Arts and Stationery on proof of enrolment.

You will receive individual and group feedback from your teacher, and each session will include a group crit.

You will contribute to a public group show as part of the Trellick 50 celebrations. Your teacher can advise on submitting your work to other exhibitions, or galleries
