3.     How to capture expressions

4.     An introduction to the idea of light and shade and how to depict shading on the face

5.     Design and composition

6.     Experiment with charcoal and collage

7.     Measuring the face, looking, and seeing different planes

8.     Explore the relationship between shapes of varying size faces

9.     Long sittings, and detailed portraits
