Job Title : Sports Development Coordinator

Westway Sports Centre occupies an iconic 8 acre site literally beneath the Westway Flyover in North Kensington.  Developed by social enterprise Westway Development Trust, in 3 phases, over the last 30 years, the Centre is renowned as London's leading community sports centre and has been used as a national case study by Sport England as well as being a Lawn Tennis Association High Performance Tennis Centre.
 
Westway operates as both a local leisure centre providing commercial leisure services and a community sports hub committed to access and excellence.  Westway also hosts a unique sports academy for junior sportspeople with realistic prospects of international competition and regularly hosts high profile national media and sporting events.

Our Sport Centre houses 10 tennis courts, 8football pitches, London’s largest climbing centre, fives courts, a gym, sport and café concessions, and everything that goes with it. 

We want the entire community to be involved in sport and fitness. The sport and fitness development programmes run in the
Trust’s facilities and in the community are key to the achievement of the Trust’s charitable objectives. Our varied development programmes are designed for specific groups of people in the local community including:
• Groups and individuals who might not normally take part in physical activity or use the Trust’s facilities for a variety of reasons
• Young people who want to develop their skill in a particular sport, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential, at whatever level that may be

Sports Development Coordinator
Reporting to: Sports Development Director
Location:   Westway Sports Centre
Salary:   £25,000.oo per annum

As a Sports Development Coordinator with a passion for community sport, you must be an inspiring and passionate character with lots of energy and self motivation. You will be motivated, organised, and reliable and possess great communication skills.

You are responsible for bringing together and ensuring the smooth delivery of the Community Sports Plan at Westway Sports Centre and out in the community.

Job Title : Front Of House Manager

At Portobello Green Fitness Club we aim to deliver high levels of customer service, which exceed customers’ expectations, at a cost that is affordable to all. As FOH manager you will be responsible for the review, development and delivery of excellent customer service and for ensuring the membership and sales processes are fully supported by your staff team.

Front of House Manager
Reporting to: Club Manager
Salary: £25,000.00 per annum
Hours: 40 per week and will include evenings and weekends

You will also be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the FOH operations and ensuring high standards of service are consistently delivered.

You will be a key member of the Club’s senior management team, working together to ensure delivery of the Club’s business plans, operations, programmes and activities, and assisting with specific projects as required.

NVQ Level 4 or equivalent management qualification
