These are only examples of what can be offered and prices
are indicative. Coach pay rates vary according to qualification and the number
of consecutive hours employed so the take up of the Westway’s schools
programme and the availability of appropriate coaches can affect the costs to
the Westway (up or down).
Some climbing activities require more
preparation (and therefore more coach time) than others. Schools using the
Westway regularly may also benefit from block booking price
advantages.
In addition, Westway may be able to subsidise some school
activities if they form part of a wider externally funded programme e.g the
Cliff Richards’ Tennis Trail, the Community Tennis programme,
etc.
The Westway can accommodate more than one class at a time and would
welcome bookings for sports days for a number of classes, which can be planned
with Westway staff. Recent events arranged with the Borough and LTA have
accomodated several hundred children at a time – so few proposals are too
large for Westway!
