Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities

This thirteen week programme (3 hours per week) has been successful with families. It examines various aspects of parenting in a solution-focused way. The aim of the course is to strengthen experiences for both parents and their children. It is designed specifically for parents who want to become more effective parents to their children aged 3 to 18 years old.

The course is run at the Venture Centre in Wornington Road in the autumn and summer terms and at other venues across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Courses are run in Arabic and English and include childcare, lunch and refreshments.

We also offer support on secondary school admissions in September/October each year. This is done in conjunction with Midaye Somali Development Network. Contact abdikadar@midaye.org.uk or vpatterson@westway.org to find out more.
