Support for supplementary schools is provided through the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Partnership of Supplementary Schools. Any supplementary school in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea can join the partnership. The partnership is chaired by the Supplementary Schools’ Coordinator Val Patterson, based at Westway Development Trust, 1 Thorpe Close. If you need a registration form template, you can find it here.
The Centre, located at 7 Thorpe Close, is funded by the Trust and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It houses the Supplementary Schools Textbook and Reference Library and is used for classes for adults and older students, training and drop-in advice and guidance sessions. For further details please contact Val Patterson on 020 8962 5720 or email vpatterson@westway.org.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Partnership of Supplementary Schools meets bi-monthly at the Resource Centre for Supplementary Schools at 7 Thorpe Close. Training also takes places there bi-monthly, usually on Wednesdays. Click training and meeting calendar to view the full calendar of events.
Supplementary schools are able to book the resource centre for meetings or to run activities. The current resource centre timetable is attached. It is heavily oversubscribed and priority goes to new supplementary schools who want to get started.
If you are interested in booking the resource centre, please contact Joe Freeman on 020 8962 5720 or by email jfreeman@westway.org.
