Having the will to learn isn’t always enough to undertake education courses or training. Often it’s the smaller and day-to-day expenses that can prevent people furthering their education. Westway’s education grants are designed to address these issues.
Local residents can apply for small education grants of up to £1000 from the Trust to contribute towards the cost of education and training. The aim of the scheme is to help people undertake courses which will lead to certification or qualification with the aim of getting into employment. Grant applications can be made to help with:
