Westway Development Trust has six grant-giving programmes, developed around the Trust’s charitable objectives. We make funds available where there is most need, to enable groups and individuals to set up projects or undertake sport or study when otherwise they would not be able to do so.

Small grants – normally up to £500 is available for local voluntary organisations to cover the cost of equipment, training, events or trips.

Education grants – normally up to £1,000 is available for local residents to assist them in completing courses that lead to employment and careers.

Sports training grants – grants up to £500 are given to local organisations, particularly those involving young people.

Individual sports training grants – grants up to £500 are awarded for local, unemployed people seeking qualifications such as NVQs and coaching certificates, which will lead to careers in sport and leisure.

Office Space - The Trust has office accommodation designated for occupation by local community and charity organisations. These offices are let at one third of current market rents.
