We are a charity, with 7 Trustees nominated by the local council and 7 by our member organisations.

Since 1971, the derelict land created when the Westway was built has been turned into our major asset. 80% has been developed for community facilities and 20% developed commercially providing a long-term income stream.

We support local voluntary organisations and help innovative new projects get established. We make over two hundred thousand pounds worth of grants every year and target services to reach into the local community and engage with its diversity.

As a development trust we are community-based and accountable, independent, financially self sufficient and actively involved in regeneration. We take a long-term view and work with all sectors to benefit the local community.
